Peel Park
Peel Park is the junior school all the protagonists in the story attended (with the exception of Doug Martin). It is also the school attended by your humble authors. The rapping of knuckles with wooden rulers and the smacking of unruly children in assemby by the headmaster were still practiced when we attended. We must assume these days long gone.
The school playing fields were once the site of Accrington Stanley's old ground before they exited the league thanks to Bob Lord's skullduggery.
